Okay I've thought about this for a while and wondered if it has ever occured to anyone else. Obviously it deals with ghosts or spirits, but can also be applied if you watch Star Trek. Occasionally in Star Trek someone get "out of phase" with reality and basically has the same properties as a ghost. No one can see or hear them and they usually can't affect the physical world in any way. Now what bothers me is the fact that even thos ghost/out of phase people walk through other people and stick their hands through walls but mysteriously the floors still have a tangible affect. Why are ghosts able to go upstairs? Shouldn't they fall through the floor. And why does the ground have an affect? Shouldn't they fall through the earth? I mean if they can't affect the world why do parts of the world affect them? Walls don't but floors do? Doesn't make sense to me. Discuss.
Because if they could fall through floors, lots of cheap hollywood movies would never have been made!
