Guys this is my first grow and I started to Germ with the paper towel method on Saturday evening. I Germed 4 seeds of Chronic's Revenge and 4 seeds of MP5K. When I came home from school all four seeds of the CR had little tap roots sticking out so I watered the pots and threw them into the soil. None of the MP5K have shown a tap root......... I planted using fox farm ocean potting soil + perlite... I am planning on using Fox Farm Nu Here are some pics ............ I'm so excited ' Using a vortex 600 blower with 6 Inch ducting in a C25 cab. Exhausting into a carbon filter on top of the cab. I used reinforce shelving to support the weight of that motherfucker The four inner pots are the ones going right now.... Give me some rep goddamit.........lol long time reader first time grower goddamn I'm so happy! lol I keep going back there with my sunglasses on and staring at it... haha
Looks good. I have a C25 too, but mine doesnt look like yours. Did you do alot of modification to it? Good luck!
lol yeah a bit.... I think I may need to buy a fan control because when I shut the cab it's created so much pressure and the goddamn air is so loud being sucked into the 3 four inch louvers I have at the bottom.....that or get more intakes.....lol shit it's really loud or i'm probably being paranoid ...
My other 4 seeds (all MP5K) All germed so I "threw" them into the soil and have them all under the light..... How long should I expect it to take before they start to pop out?

Mine sprouted in 4 days I think, it may have been 3...I remember reading somewhere to leave your lights off until they sprout so for the first 2 days I did this, after the 2nd day I got impatient and just turned the lights on..they sprouted the next day.
Thanks for stopping by Sh4dows, I've been dying to know the fucking answer to that question. Well i figured the sun would be shining on them in nature going "come up and see me motherfuckers" so I figured the light couldn't hurt and could only help, but what the fuck do I know!
Hey guys you may think this is silly but I was so fucking excited to see my first sprout this morning when I got home from school and had to take its picture... now should I water it because it's been baking under a light for about 2 days?

100% Germ and 100% Sprouted on my First try goddamn I'm a bad ass lol Wish someone would visit my journal and be as excited as I am!!! Just moved light to 20 inches was at 24 inches.... Temps are at 77.5 by the light.... Just watered a little bit because soil felt a little dry on the inner 4 pots outer 4 will be watered tomorrow because they were planted a day later...

alright tronic i'll be sure to check yah out going to update with pics later this week ......got the light right over the girls a few inches at most.......they are all showing their first true leaves and hopefully I can start day 1 of veg in a few days!
Here are how all my girls are looking when do I start Day 1 of veg? I'm gonna go get stoned now.....god I hope these aren't all girls lol because only of my 6 big pots will fit into this cab but what is the likelihood of that........
what type of light are you using, im guessing an hps, but whats the wattage? and how far away is it? you said a few inches, the type of light determines how close you can keep the light. i do like the grow setup tho, real nice. after i get my first grow down i want to get good seeds, i can only fit 6 plants in my cab too, i wish i had the exhaust youve installed along with the filter, but im not that funded. im closing in on 4 weeks for 2 of my plants, 3 on another, and a week on my baby. feel free to check it out, the links below. ill keep an eye on this here grow of yours!
I'm using a 400 watt mh/hps conversion digital ballast with an air cooled reflector and I just lined the walls with mylar this weekend...... I just stuck the camera in the box to take that pic......the light is that close.....probably 5-4 inches I mean the temps are 77 right now and it's the hottest part of the day so shit and they look real green so they have to be healthy.... anyway bro I'm gonna check out your girls now.......
