I germinated my seeds, some to the point where the white root tip curved, and planted 1 in. deep in soil that I watered about 10 minutes before planting. its been 3 days at least and I'm yet to see anything sprout... I've kept them in the dark too. what's going on???
HIGH All, hard to say KALiBERRRR....what I do is put my pots on my Floros and the heat from the light is warm enough to warm up the soil. I find if your soil is cold the longer it will take to pop out.....having it warm seems to speed things up. Edit: and I don't have them in the dark.
When i germinate my seeds it doesn't really mean its a bad thing if the root tip gets long and starts to curve just means its more likely to be damaged when planting. But go to walmart and for about 2 bucks you can get a jiffy pellet box with 12 of them in there and a heat/ grow room box its not very big just a long plastic box. put the the water in the jiffy pellets let them absorb and get about 1 inch to 1 1/2 inch big, then plant the seed down in there. put the plastic cover over the box and set the box on top of your monitor just as if you were germinating your seeds. Give it a day or two and your plants soud be sprouting in no time. This is what i do and it for me it has been very sucsessfull then planting the germinated seeds in just a pot with potting soil.
