Getting Stoned Alone VS With Friends

I don't mind smoking with other people as long as I'm at my house or have plans. Anything besides that? I'd rather smoke by myself. I like to get lost in music.

 

Getting stoned alone is kind of a foreign concept for me. I've done it like once, but I don't really enjoy it all that much.

 

Overall I like getting high with other people but it depends on who it is. If I'm getting high with true friends it's waaay better than being alone. However if the people I'm smoking with are only hanging out because I have bud then I'd rather just be alone.

 

I usually like being alone. Have a fat blunt to myself that I can hit for at least 10-20 minutes and just chill. Friends are cool too but I don't like it too often

 

Alone for me. Started out with loving to be in a group. Couldn't smoke any other way. Thought those who smoked alone were crazy.

Then slowly, over time, the total ass-hats that are always there (there's a few in every large group) started to get to me. Smoking all your stash "with you", yet never ever returning the favour even once; acting much higher than they really were; being an embarrassment in public; etc.

Can't put the blame solely on other people though to be honest. I also changed. Toking alone suited my style much more and it still does.

 

I have only smoked a couple of times by myself, and it just seems like a completely different experience versus smoking with other people. I enjoy the humor in everything and laughing with others, but I enjoy the introspection that comes with being alone.

 

I prefer smoking with people who know how to smoke. People who actually HAVE weed, and I am not talking 10-sacks. People who understand what to do and what is inappropriate to do when smoking. People who act like adults rather than people act immature, giggle, and spit "highdeas" everywhere because they are "so stoned"....lmao. In reality ill smoke with anyone who is down to match. Majority of the time I am smoking alone though, going through my daily routine. If someone is down to match though, I am down too

I prefer to smoke on my own actually. See I have bad anxiety, and do not like being around many people. I do like to smoke with one or two good mates, and that's it. Not only that but I live in a flat, so keeping it low profiel to avoid problems with neighbours and the landlord.

 

I'm the kinda guy who loves to just blow down like crazy with my friends. nearly all of my friends smoke these days. i love being able to smoke with all my friends, but sometimes a nice relaxing night by yourself with some bud can be amazing. when i smoke by myself i love watching Regular Show. that shits made to watch stoned, no doubt in my mind.

 

i like to smoke alone because i can do the things i want to do but i also enjoy smoking with friends.

 

I find that I can't fully enjoy the experience if I'm with others , because the chatter of other people can be distracting. When I'm alone I can freely indulge in w/e comes to mind whether it's listening to some jazz or gorging out.

 

With friends FOR SURE. Way more fun. Especially if you have someone with low tolerence so you can make fun of.

 

Depends how I'm feeling.
When I'm alone, I'll smoke a joint late at night and just chill back and relax, listen to some good ass music and just think, or watch TV.
But I do smoke with friends a lot. Its fun if it's a sativa strain when you're with friends, when it gives you that giggling high.
Either way, let's all just agree that being stoned is great.

I love both of them and both of them are different experiences but I would say with my friends is better. It has to be my best friends though! When me and them smoke it's an amazing time but then once you include people I only kind of fun it's not even close to as much fun.

I've only just started smoking, and none of my friends do, so I only smoke alone.

I was surprised to see so many people say they prefer it. I kinda felt like it was a loserish thing to do. But I can see what you guys mean. Its nice to be able to go do whatever strikes your fancy, or nothing at all. I've certantly enjoyed smoking alone, though I still think I would enjoy smoking with a good friend--someone who isn't an asshat or a miser and preferably who tends to have the same kinds of highs as I do (so one person wants to sleep while the other wants to go for a walk or w/e). Also, I've noticed that people are not suspicious of me being high at all when I'm my myself. If I were with a friend or two though, I think we'd raise a lot more eyebrows as a group goofing off than I would alone.

Also, since I've been smoking alone from the start, I've never really had to worry about looking like an idiot in front of new friends. I don't have people making fun of my low tolerance (I weigh 110 lbs, and I legally cannot donate blood because I don't have enough in my system. I've got low tolerance to everything. Why should I be embarrassed about that? I use less bud and save both kinds of green) or my noobishness. If I want to ask a dumb n00b question that everyone should know the answer to, I can do it here. Someone will answer, and the only people who will laugh at me are people I don't know and will never meet.

But at the same time, I don't have people around to teach me the basics. I didn't have a friend to teach me how to roll a joint or inhale without coughing like crazy when I first started. I have to rely on the internet for information. I don't have a friend who owns a bong, so I can't try using one unless I buy my own. I wouldn't mooch weed off people, but it would be nice if I could use a friend's glass with him, stuff like that.
