Friends, I am in a pickle. I have been searching and scouting for seeds for this winter grow. I have been looking at Katsu seeds for a year and decided I would give it a shot with a pre-sale of Josh D OG s1. I really wanted to do 2 runs this winter, as I am moving this spring in a condo and growing anything «OG» even with carbon filter won't be doable. Maybe with an ozone gen but never used them and they look dangerous. Kind of a last resort option.... Shipping of the pre sale OG was scheduled for Nov. 15th. Here is what I just received: ************************************************** *************************************************** Dear Friend, I swore I would never let myself get in this f***ed up situation, but here I am again, almost a year later, writing a letter to a bunch of customers to explain my stupidity. Once again, I didn’t sleep all night stressed out and thinking about the apology letter I was going to have to write. Well, let’s start off with “the thing” – in spite of having what appeared to be a perfect reversal, the OG reversal seems to be a complete bust – the sample buds we broke up have ZERO seeds. So, what does that mean for the OG S1’s? Let me begin by saying I am 100% committed to making them and there will ABSOLUTELY BE OG S1’s – right now I am in the 3rd week of another OG reversal and, assuming success, will have beans in February. I plan on starting two additional OG reversal in another month (separate locations) just to make sure. But Katsu, I’ve been waiting for a month already? I know, and I feel like a gigantic ass and I’m going to try and make it right by offering you one of two (actually two and a half) options: Option 1: Get EXACTLY the same deal right now (Fat Pack + Freebies) but choose something else to replace the OG S1’s from my store, even if it’s more expensive, INCLUDING the upcoming Sour Diesel restocks (except for the Staten Island Diesel which is for the Stoney Charity Auction). Option 2: You’re sitting on a shit ton of gear anyways and are in no hurry to pop the OG S1 beans and can wait until the S1’s are done. I will bribe you for your patience with one ADDITIONAL FREE PACK of your choice from my store FOR EVERY PACK YOU ORDERED (again, regardless of price except for the Staten Island Diesel). Option 2.5: Same as 2 except you really need some seeds now, in which case I’ll send you your bribe pack(s) immediately. Again, I’m sorry. You would have thought I had learned my lesson after the failed Bubba reversal last year but some people need to have lessons beaten into them. Please respond to this email and let me know how you would like to proceed. If for some reason none of these options work for you, you may also feel free to let me know and I will do my best to make you happy. Thanks for your understanding. Honestly, I am pissed to the point I don't want to take any more chances and I need some quality seeds ASAP. At this point, I consider I've lost my money with that deal. *IF* seeds ever arrived I won't be able to grow them. I never give a shit about any freebies. I take so much time to research what I will be growing that freebies are useless. .... 115$ down the drain and a month of precious grow time wasted. What would you respond to Katsu? I need seeds like yesterday. Please, can you please suggest me some decent photoperiod strains with old school terps like pinesol, road kill skunk, musky, pungent, stinky, kushy, strains, from reputable breeders... Thank you.
North Atlantic seed company out of Maine. They carry a good number of quality breeders. You will find what you need there.
Anything specific like strains or breeders? Currently looking at Ethos OGDlux Bx3, made with Karma's JoshD....

Throwing another vote in for North Atlantic (NASC),6+ orders in the last 2 or so years with no issues. Seedsman is also solid imho The real benefit of NASC is some of just their bulk feminized does as good or well as the pricer name brand genetics (usually) These are standard bulk feminized photo gorilla glue seeds from nasc, did an 8 week veg and approx 10.5 week flower (pics are about 10 days from when I cut), even dried, most of the colas were over 1ft long and about red bull can thickness (again, dried) It might not get you on the cover of high times, but over the last 3 or so years I've found even NASC bulk to be a reliable 1/2 to 3/4 lb per plant producers, although obviously some of the higher end stuff like ethos etc has the POTENTIAL to do much better imo. Hope this helps mate, apologies if it didn't, I've grown a couple different strains from NASC over the years if you care to look through the 3-4 grow journals I have on my profile page. If not thats fine too, its friday so I'm starting 420 an hour early (US Eastern time) so its all good regardless! PS no one pays me shit, I just call em as I see em from my (admittedly limited) knowledge of breeders.
Thanks everyone for the tips!! Got the wifi og in my basket at NASC so far. They ships week days so I'll extend my search in the week end, looking at the sincity stuff. Their PowerBlue looks like the genetics I've been looking at and it's used in lots of their crosses. I was so desperate earlier looking at seeds from scratch again nothing was appealing anymore. With a little touch of here and there I'll might find Love again haha!!

I had a "set back" last grow, to try & make up some lost time I went from photo's to autos. My biggest buds, finally swelling & approaching beer can girth even if the plant is only 12" tall. LOL. Like Mick J says "you can't always get what you want" But sometimes...

I'm looking closely at Sincity. Haven't found a way to order straight from them..?? Their Sinmint haven't been restocked so far, maybe I'll wait a few weeks for this one. In the best case scenario I'd love to get fem seeds as time and space is limited. They seems to have limited feminised strains options with the terps I'm looking for. But y'all got me seriously interested and will be growing their gear this season. At NASC, so far I am ordering WIFI og F. (Blimburn) and White Wedding F. (Ethos). New plan is to make a run right now with what I have in hands. I got some Critical Kush germinating to fill this first tent. Then I'll set a 2nd tent and dig out my old 600w hps, bulb is a nice Hortilux with 1 1/2 run of usage, should still be a decent setup. I got rid of old soil a few weeks ago by dumping it in the yard so I don't know if it will be a soil or coco run. I don't have any EWC left to make more soil... Will also be using a closet for vegetation, so I could do 3 runs this winter. If new seeds can arrive quickly, I could potentially do 4 runs. argh... Why the heck is every strain Zkittles and Cookie crossed goddammit! Skittles and cookies are treats for kids certainly not appealing names to me! Am I the only one? When I look for dank, musky, skunky, stinky aromas, candy for child just don't fit! OK it's moving a bit lol.. Got the Wifi OG straight from Blimburn...TSC novelties suggested by Headhunter have the Sinmint Cookie back in stock and would ship to Canada. But just like Katsu it's cash by mail or cash app. Not my first choice after I've just lost 115$, so I'll sleep on it tonight.
@Laucass83 there's another place I need to recommend to you and to everyone else. It is called Aficionados of Cannabis Seed Bank of Colorado. I've ordered from there many many times (from Canada as well) and they send you the seeds in a stealth package.
