At week 7, the plants have put on almost no flower development. Our best guess is that this was due to a dramtic drop in temperature. The limited flowers have lost their pistles and are clearly ripening into the final stages. I'm looking for tips for getting the flowers to continue to develop and increase in size at this late stage. Somone recommended that I try using something heavy in carbohydrates, like Botanicare Sweet. That perhaps the flowers have simply gone dormant and will begin to grow again. Has anyone faced a similar issue? How can I get the plants to produce more flowers at this point?
You are 7 weeks into flowering? If that's the case then there is a problem. Temperature is probably the culprit but, I wonder if their dark period is being interrupted or is not totally dark as well. How low did the temperature go? Also, I would not give them heavy doses of nutes at this point. Seven weeks is too close to harvest time and they will taste like crap from to much nutes.
