I used my last sticky trap thing no fly strip and it didn't help at all really. I tried the vinegar and ill have to experiment with it again. Any other ideas?

I don't really feel like goin to the pet store and gettin a bag of sand...

  2. Hey.

OK. I dont usually go this route, but youre in week 7 and time is of
    the essence here:

I suggest u go straight to a Pyrethrum Fogger (Dr Doom, in the red can).
its organic pyrethrum and its good up till 2 weeks before harvest.
Thats for the adults and juveniles.

Put up blue and yellow sticky traps also.

For the larvae in the medium, go to strait H202.
    (3% - 1.5 cups to 1 gal of water).

  7. Im just asking for like a simple organic solution. Not some stuff im gonna have to drop money on that im just gonna use once for a plant that is a hermi

  8. Wow.

Thats a hermie with alotta decent lookin bud on it.
Plus, theres femmed seeds in there too.

If u dont wanna give a shit about it, fine, its your loss.

U have your answers. Good luck :).

  9. Okay dude you don't have to be a dick about it.

Im glad yoou like my bud (did you check out my journal? Caus those two picks don't show shit) its a bummer because its not dank, it doesnt have very much trichs, and its seeded as fuck.

And in order to have fem seeds you have to take the pollen from the hermi and put it on a regular sensi plnt in flower.

And where did i say i dont give a shit about it? All im saying is that i dont want to go out to and pay for some bottle which ill use once and when im almost done wwith flowwer.
Idk how bad the gnats damage the buds but I know if your gonna have a pest problem, gnats are one of the lesser of the evils

  10. Im not being a dick man, I just told u the
strait-up truth and I guess u couldnt handle it.

If youve put all the time and hard work into this
grow, thus far, why wouldnt u go out and make
the last effort to get something that would save
    the grow ???

And really, man, why did u ask for help, just to
be offensive to others that answered your call for
    help.

    Whos the dick here ???

If I could negative rep u, I would, but since I cant, I'll
get some satisfaction in knowing youve made a fool
out of yourself in front of thousands lol.

  11. ' if you don't give a shit about it, its fine, it your loss"

Where the fuck did that come from? you act like I offended you cause I didn't want to go out and buy the product you recommended Sorry i am now taking offfense to someone who has know idea who I am, telling ME what I care about. You were the one who brought disprespect into this thread first, so fuck you

  12. 'The straight up truth'
What? That I have decent bud and I don't give a shit about my grow?real cool man

And ' made a fool in front of thousands'

    Your kidding me right?

'Something that could save your grow' this isn't mold

  13. you should be fine until harvest, put a bowl of apple cider viniger with a dash of dish soap by your plants, the big ones will be attracted to it and drown themselves in it. but imo fungus gnats aren't that big of a deal this close to harvest.

  14. Thank you man, that's what I am thinking. I heard the adult flies don't even eat the plant just the orgainc stuff in the soil(, idk if this is true)But they can also eat the roots. It just doesnt seem like a huge deal this close to harvest. As long as I can keep them under control...

  15. Dude... Alot of the soils out there come with gnats. Thats just the way it is. If your going to keep growing you need to invest in a pest management solution. 1 small container of Azamax has lasted me through 2 grows and 12 plants. At $18 for 4 Oz. that comes to $1.50 a plant.

Ok so gnats happen to us all. I'm dealing with them now. The best approach is a multipronged attack imho.

For your current grow, I'd start with AzaMax (an antifeedant and insect growth regulator and controls pests through starvation and growth disruption). The real problem with gnats are the pupa. The larvae grow quickly to pupa which ONLY EAT YOUR ROOT'S FOLLICLES! That means instead of having dense hairy roots, you've got single white root strands with no branching, which means your plant is not eating. So save your nutes for now as the plants are hardly able to receive it. Azamax with water to kill the remaining pupa, and water as you want to be flushing your plants at this stage anyway.

With your next round, add the sand you don't want to do now as it will keep the flyers from laying more babies, and if they do, the babies will starve (as you want to keep the azamax going until they are really gone). Then work down their populations by going after the adults, with a pyretheum bomb to do away with most of the flyers, ladybugs if you don't want to bomb. Then, going into maintenance mode, hang a few fly papers, and just continue adding azamax to your mix once a week. If you find the gnats are having a resurgence, it's because they are getting tolerant to azamax. Time to flip flop each week between azamax treatments and neem oil treatments. Neem (works by interfering with the insect's ability to molt - if it can't molt, it won't reach sexual maturity and won't be able to mate and reproduce) is very strong and can kill your cannabis. Make sure you follow the directions on the bottle for dosage info. Keeping up a habit of adding something to your mix will ensure you don't have this problem again, and neem and azamax are good solutions for an organic gardener, as they also work against other garden pests.

Final bit of advice, push your current crop to 9 weeks. High will be stronger, which is a good markup for seedy weed. By giving it two more weeks, you are really getting an 8 week crop as your growth has been stunted by the gnats. You can also maximize the next two weeks for your plant by getting to the azamax and add a root nute like General Organics BioWeed for the rest of this week so it can do some serious growing before you harvest.

    Good luck!
