Get Higher with Mangoes

    Unlike the rumor smoking banana peels will produce a high, mangoes do contribute to increasing a stoners' weed high.
    Marijuana contains a chemical called Myrcene.
    High grade marijuana bud generally contains a comparatively higher concentration of myrcene than low grade cannabis bud.
    Mangoes, Lemon grass, and other less-common plants also contain high amounts of this chemical.
    Myrcene is believed to aid the potency of the marijuana high by allowing the psychoactive chemicals found in cannabis, namely THC, to cross the blood-brain barrier more efficiently.
    The following method does work, however there are some variables.
    Adding mangoes to your diet is an excellent choice regardless if you determine they don't increase your marijuana high.
    I've determined when smoking high grade marijuana bud, you are less likely to feel any difference because the bud already contains a high amount of myrcene.
    To discover the effect mangoes have on your weed high, smoke lower grade marijuana.
    Purchase a small amount of schwaggy marijuana.

    An hour before burning a marijuana joint eat a mango.
    Smoke the commercial grade cannabis.
    See if the low quality marijuana gets you higher than expected.
    Some stoners report getting ripped.
    With heart racing palpitations!
    Body weight and metabolism may be a factor.
    If one mango doesn't work, don't give up, try eating two next time.
    I'm a big fan of mangoes and inhaling marijuana.
    Eating mangoes before and after smoking marijuana.
    You may also experiment with the amount of time you wait before smoking.
    Another great experiment is eating mangoes to solve your munchies.
    Instead of devouring a bag of potato chips eat a mango immediately following your marijuana session.
    Even when smoking high grade marijuana, eating mangoes for munchies will lengthen your marijuana high.
    Stretch it out.
    It's a cheap affordable healthy alternative to increase your marijuana high.
    Give eating mangoes a try.

  4. The mango worked for me. But make sure you have two mangoes on hand. After you smoke you'll want another one of those tasty little fuckers :cool:

    I thought I found a source before.
    Oh btw I'm pretty much super high right now.
    Smoked a tiny bit it's a good thing to conserve your bud.
    But if you got money to spend then smoke more.
    But becareful because panic attacks aren't fun.


    Remember to take deep oxygen inhales through your nose
    Then exhale out with your mouth it helps to calm.
    Also drink water because being hydrated helps aswell...

  6. it works. just gotta eat the mango 30-45 minutes before you smoke.

    some people eat them right before they load a bowl and bitch that it doesnt work.

    Yeah alot of people rush it, it's not like alcohol where you take a shot then smoke a blunt.
    You got to wait atleast 25 mins it all depends on your metabolism because the chemical needs to go through your bloodstream. so a good hour can help but you can expirement with half an hour to 25 mins. it worked for me for sure I waited only like 25 mins. :hippie:

    I'm glued to my chair right now and I can barely move it's like a task for me right now.
    But this is an awesome high and I barely even smoked any.
    It feels very close to an edible high that I had with firecrackers.

    I'm going to listen to some music and possibly start writing stuff down.

    Awesome let us know how it went because I never tried 2 mangoes, I always do one every once in awhile because of tolerance. but I do take t-breaks because of it but the mangoes really helped kick my tolerance low atleast chemically.

    Not to be an ass, but RIPE mangoes, we don't want our fellow apprentice tokers to just eat a mango it has to be ripe.
    But yeah ripe mangoes are very tasty and juicy sweet.

  11. I've done this several times and have had several friends try it and they and I are in agreement it works. I've even done things like made food for friends before that involved a large amount of mango and had them eat it with me a good while before we toked without them knowing of the whole mango & pot thing and observed how they acted while high compared to their norm and theres pretty much always been a noticeable difference.

    Mango ice cream? who knows it might work if they used ripe mangos.
     
  13. raw mangos will work and I'm assuming a raw purée would work too. Your best bet is to blend up mangos into a smoothie if you want that.

    But there isn't alot of info on myrecene. Like what part if the mango it is in, is it sensitive to heat. Your best chance is 2 mangos on an empty stomach.
     
  14. I tried one mango yesterday. Trying 2 today. It definantly added to my high and increased it's length. This is from a vaped bag and two hits.
     
  15. In regards to looking for a source, in Ed Rosenthals Marijuana Cultivation handbook he states that eating a mango half hour before toking will I dunno if I wanna say increase your high, but will def have an effect on your experience.
    Comes from Ed Rosenthal...so that has to be fact right there right?!

    I myself have never tried it, I would but I never seem to have mangos in my household. Weird...
     
  16. Eating or drinking mango juice (Mucho Mango Arizona Iced Tea lol) gets me more paranoid when I'm high, not really that much higher just paranoid as shit.

  18. I personally can't stand the taste of mango, but i've done this a couple of times and I've noticed a difference. Worth a try, ecspecially if you like mango :smoking:
