Get high as hell

Discussion in 'Weed Edibles' started by S0UR, Dec 2, 2011.

  1. I'm looking to make some kind of edible, not firecrackers. They never work for me. Ideas of what I can make in an hour with around a gram?

  2. Anyone..?

  3. just make a small amount of cannoil or cannabutter and eat that straight. If you limit yourself to only 1 hr of prep time you can't make much else

  4. 1 edible isnt worth the time. nor is a gram IMO.

Might as well just smoke it. But as the guy ahead said, make a tiny batch of cannaoil, then ingest.

  5. Thanks guys

  6. Instead of drinking oil.. cause thats disgusting, make butter then just make cinnamon and sugar toast :)

  7. Make weed peanut butter, it only takes 24 minutes to make. For every gram of weed you use, you need a 1/4 of a cup of peanut butter. So mix the peanut butter with the weed in a bread pan and bake it in the oven for 24 minutes until it is slightly brown on the edges. You can eat it straight or mix it with whatever you want. Honestly, the highest I've gotten in a while was when I made a 1 gram weed peanut butter sandwich.

  8. Contrary to how long and wordy the below is... making a high grade oil is VERY EASY!! [IMG]

The best oils have been well sealed and are temp-controlled, and as such they produce little
to no odor during the entire process. [IMG]

In any given amount of time, you will have more success using a pure oil source, versus one diluted
in peanut solids, and moisture. :)

Just remember; not all kitchen oils are equal... most of the veg oils people have in their cupboards, are
the last oils you'd want to be using with canna... avoid long-chain triglyceride containing oils, such
as; lard, canola oil, corn oil, soy oil, olive oil etc.

You want an oil source with a high saturated fat content, and one with short and/or medium-chain triglycerides.

The below should help.... and of the following recipes you can use with your oil, the Canna Truffles are
probably your easiest, and best bet.

They require no cooking or baking, it's just a matter of combining a little cocoa powder, powdered
sugar, and a few drops of milk and vanilla, along with your oil.

    ------------

" Try coconut oil, or if you can't find that, you must have some butter laying around or within
shopping-distance... clarified butter and coconut oil are better at delivering cannabinoids
to your system, than the long-chain triglycerides which typically make up the majority of
fatty acids found in olive oil. Short and medium-chain triglycerides (contained in butter and
coconut oil) and their saturated fat content can break down and much more effectively
and correctly deliver cannabinoids within your system.

Clarified butter can be made by simply heating store bought butter over a medium-high
heat, stirring occasionally allowing water content to evaporate, while scraping off as many milk
solids as possible, as they appear on the surface of the oil.

Try 220 f for a half hour when it comes to decarbing; grind your herb very finely, and distribute it
as thinly as possible inside a well sealed oven safe container or oven bag, to contain some of
the additional and very-volatile terpene content.

Once you've finished decarbing, add the clarified butter or melted coconut oil to your oven-
safe container and herb, and heat at 220 f for 40 - 45 minutes. Let it cool in the oven then
remove the container and freeze your oil herb mixture to disrupt cellular integrity within the
glandular material, improving the eventual bioavailability by allowing for more effective
break down upon the next heating. Continue heating for an additional 40 - 45 minutes.
Strain, then use your new, highly activated and potent oil however you like. [IMG]

    See the link below:

(First Page, contains detailed information on decarboxylation, or cannabinoid conversion..
decarboxylation is the process of activating your cannabinoids 'potency' by removing the
carboxyl group in the form of carbon dioxide and water vapor, converting your cannabinoids
from their acid, to their more potent delta forms):

The best oils, produce little to no odor during processing, if sealed properly and heated and cooled correctly. You can easily put it in any boxed brownie mix... be sure to read the final paragraph for detailed dosage information.

" Just be sure that you know how many doses you are working with; different recipes
require a varying amount of oil, and produce a varying number of portions... if you use the
same strength oil in every recipe, you could end up with a pasta sauce that is MUCH
too potent for only two or three servings, or a pan of brownies that require half the batch to
be consumed at once, just for a single dose. [IMG]

This is why it is best to make a concentrated oil..... it can be used in recipes that make
many servings, but require only limited oil, or it can be saved, portioned out, and used in
conjunction with whatever unadulterated oil is required by your recipe, when making a dish
that requires more oil per serving. "

Have fun, and good luck! [IMG]
