Hello, I have just germinated 10 for 10 Lowriders. I have them in 16 Oz. foam cups in Vermiculite. All came up in 48 hrs @ 85 Deg F. The cups have holes in the bottom and are sitting in about 1/2" water. My question is how long should I grow them in the cups? I know Vermiculite has no nutes and I have fed them a very weak 5-30-9. I would think that I would need some decent roots to hold together the vermiculite to ease in transplanting. Any thoughts? Thanks, J
I would transfer out of the cups when they are a few inches tall. Put them into an 8 inch pot or something until a foot tall. Then go 2-5 gallon pots from there.
