Hey guys, Cracked some seeds in a shot glass of water and am wondering if I should go ahead and plant them in soil or let the roots get a little longer between some paper towels. They're cracked but barely any taproot is showing. Thanks in advance for any advice.
Thanks for the quick replies guys. I went ahead and put them in soil and watered them a bit. Still not too sure if I should run the lights or not, but I guess I'll give it a couple of days without and see how that goes.
Hi i have always banged lite on love as soon as i plant. Always been goid for me but another reason i lite straight away is for the extra heat. I live in uk and cold most of time so the light helps keep em warm wete i am . I always stick at 72/75' temp wi high humidity and seeds sprout normally in two or three days . Xx
Turn your lights on. As soon as that cotlydon breaks the soul she'll be begging for some photosynthetic enegery from your fake sun. What I do during germination is soak in wet paper towel, and as soon as the seed starts to crack I position it in such a way that the taproot is still in the paper towel but the seed itself is exposed to some light. Seems to speed up the seedlings buy a couple days, I deal with autos and those need the beat start possible, seems to be working great for me!
