I put the tap root face down in the soil and covered it up. 24 hours later, the seeds were sticking out of the top of the dirt because the tap root growing was just pushing the seed up instead. Do i push farther down or is my soil too tight?
Post a pic, sounds to me like the tap root is just pushing the shell up which is totally natural and isn't a problem at all.
Thank you guys! I appreciate the help and comments. Overnight they have grown much more. I'm running on a 24 hour light cycle for a couple days to a week. This is how they looked this morning.
After shell pops off there may be a skin covering the leaves, holding them together. If this happens just spray the skin with a water bottle and itll wet the skin enough to allow the cotyledon to open.
