Hey i got some bag seed a couple weeks ago and i just started to germinate two of them to try it out for practice, i was wondering how long it should take before there ready my second question is i planted another seed(non germinated) into fertile soil from my yard, do you think it should be sufficient enough to grow a decent plant? im just haveing fun any friendly advice/comments are appreciated, thank you.
Answer 1. Usually the seed should crack within 1-3 days. Answer 2. Depends on the properties of the soil. If its ideal then yes as long as you plant it at the right time of year and water it enough
With it being bag seed u cant even be sure that the seed is good but as long as the soil is in good fertile condition then it should grow just fine.
you want your soil to be good quality meaning lots of nutrients. get some bat guano and some seabird guano. bat shit is full of nitrogen which the plant will use in veg. the seabird has lots of phosphorous which will is needed for flower. if ur dirt is very compacted down the roots will have a hard time managing through it and will eventually get rootbound, also drainage problems can occur which will kill off plants. if ya mix in some unsalted sand, vermiculate, pumic, etc. it'll make a nice, light, soil mix light is going to be as important for good plants, higher the intensity. nicer they grow, and the bigger, and thicker the buds get.
