Germination Question

Discussion in 'First Time Marijuana Growers' started by skylineGTR0001, May 18, 2006.

  1. I think let my seeds germinate too much, they already came out of the seed shell. Will i still be able to stick it in the soil and grow normally?

  2. If they already have leaves, plant them into the soil with the top barely sticking out of the soil.

If they don't have any leaves yet, cover the entire thing in soil with it facing up.

As long as they look healthy they should be fine. Just make sure that when you put them in soil that it stays moist and doesn't dry out until it pops through the surface.

  3. just be VERY careful with the taproot emerging from the seed. This is fragile and can be harmed by careless handling.

  4. Oh I misunderstood.

I thought you meant that the seed already fell off while germinating.

If its just the taproot sticking out, listen to up4anything.

Its just how its supposed to be. Just make sure when you plant it, the taproot is sticking down.

  5. I took it the same way. Either way, he needs to be careful with it.
