    Ok,
Asking for a stranger. So they have a large number of hemp seeds that say they have not been irradiated or sterilized and are suitable for growing. So they were planning to familiarise themself with growing hemp before wasting seeds off actual strains that would be costly.
So, no matter what they do they cannot get them to grow. They first soak the seeds in a heated water bath of 22 degrees Celsius for around 10 hours. Some seeds begin to have the taproot emerge so they know they are being hydrated. they are then transplanted to seed raising mix that is pre-moistened. The soil is also kept at the 22 degrees. They are sure that there is no over soaking of the seeds and not letting them dry out as well. But not a single seed has sprouted. They have then tried peat pellets using the same method and none of them have also germinated. Finally, they have tested pH and the samples were between 6-6.5. They tried different germination methods of the wet paper towel and has similar disappointing results. They are unsure what they are doing wrong as have had heaps of seeds that have had the tap rood emerge and then it just seems to stop at that point.

They would really appreciate some suggestions,
    Thanks !!

  2. 22 degrees Celsius is not heated bath water - that's about 71 degrees F, which is actually a little too cool . Room temperature works for me - 78 degrees F. Eliminate pre-germination and try the peat pellets again - soak them in 6.0 pH'd water - squeeze out the excess - put in seed about 1/4 inch - cover hole with a little peat - put in a drawer or something - check daily and if necessary put a few drops of pH'd water on the pellets to keep them moist - not wet. Good luck.

Thanks for the reply, They mean heated because it's like 12 degrees outside at the moment for this person so it is heated. But they get what you mean. They will try just pulling them straight into the peat pellets again and see if that works out.
