hey guys.... i dont know if im just being paranoid, or what... but its been 60 hours so far ( 2 1/2 days) and ive been using a tupperware container, with the top, and the paper towel method. i ordered some seeds from dr.chronic... fucking awesome by the way... they got there in like 4 days after the order was confirmed. anywhoz.... i started with 5 seeds, and its been 60 hours, and not one has sprouted a root yet.... i heard that sometimes it takes up to a week for them to germ... but i see other people posting about how it happens in 24 hours for them... i dont know, i guess im just worried i might've fucked them up already, haha, anybody got some reassurance? not even 1 out of 5 has sprouted yet, after 60 hours..... p.s. the seeds are from nirvana if that helps.... <sigh> i guess im just getting impatient and worried.
I wouldn't be too worried yet. 2.5 days isn't long at all. If you haven't already, it will help to keep your tupperware container warm. You can even sit it on top of your computer monitor and the warmth from that will work.
yeah man sit back and smoke a blunt. If they don't pop up within 4 more days then start to worry. Personally I don't think you even need to go through the paper towel process. I always put my seeds straight in the soil and always have good germination rates.
I ordered Nervana Medusa fem from the doc those babys broke out of their shell in about 24hrs and went into the ground 3 days into the germ. What strain did you order?
northern bright. but its cool, i checked around midday today, and i had 1 for sure root coming out, and a 2nd seed was getting ready, a tiny bit of the tip showed, not quite fully root yet, im going to check again soon, maybe in half an hour, and see how many are germed!!!!
Hey Smoken Soulja! I've just started my first grow and put my seeds in on Sunday (AM), I was getting really worried as nothing was happening but today (Tuesday) they are sprouting - I've got three new babies!!! Give them another few days and all will be fine. Good luck with the grow, tell us how you get on.
