Germination Assistance please

  1. So my 3 babies have germed, and are now about 3 1/2 days old. From these pictures do you think any of them are ready for transplant into soil yet???

  2. You can put them in soil whenever you want.
     
  3. Thanks for the quick reply, the one i have which is already green is good. Do you think the other 2 will survive, and what should i do to help them?
     
  4. You can transplant them whenever. Normally I wait until they fill the space with roots, that way I don't transplant as much. Normally i'll go from solo cup, wait until roots are exposed from the bottom, transplant into a 1gal pot, wait for the roots to expose through the bottom, then transplant into a 3gal pot. I've also heard this method prevents the plant from getting root bound, but I can't honestly say this!

    I think it's widely agreed that you get a more robust root mass this way. This is the exact method I use and I'm sticking with it until I see proof otherwise.
