I got a dozen or so seeds from a bag of shake that a friend of mine had. I put them all in a damp paper towel, sealed it in a ziploc bag, and put the bag in a warm place (behind my computer/on top of my external hard drive ). That was over a week ago, and none of the seeds have sprouted. Are these ones just duds? Or am I doing something wrong?
Put them in a damp paper towel in a plastic bag, but also make sure its in a dark place (I put mine in a black plastic cup and have it facing down. The seeds should be brown, not green (premature)
Thanks, man. I'll try again with a new paper towel and I'll make sure to keep it dark. Is there still a chance that these seeds will work, or should I just wait until I get some new ones?
make sure the paper towel stays moist. don't let it dry out. start with fresh seeds. if you don't see any signs of rooting after a week...it won't happen.
