  1. whats the best way to germinate seeds, or germinating success, And is there a way to help my odds of getting female plants from seed. and best way to store seeds for long periods of time. lastly whats yalls opinion on the best way for the best yeilds: topping, fimming, lst, pruning, etc, for a small grow area (enough for about 4-6 plants) under a 430 hps.

  2. there are lots of threads telling you these things, but germinating is pretty easy, just get 2 plates, place 2 layers of wet paper towel on one plate, drop your seeds on and place another layer of wet paper towel on top, then cover with second place and leave somewhere warm like an airing cupboard or top of computer. as for female plants you can use clones or just buy some feminized seeds. for yields id say there are so many methods that all produce different results depending on how good at them you are, but if you have a relatively small space id go for a SCROG (screen of green) which seems to have amazing results! good luck and if you want to know anythin else just ask! and check my grow:p

  3. feminized seeds are BAD, they have a tendency to turn hermi, b/c thats the way they are made, by hermi plants. i plan to use clones when i get female from seed, just wanted to know if there was a way or something to use to increase my chances of producing female plants from seed or seedlings.

  4. This statement is not true in my experience. I have grown over 20 plants from femenized seeds, and have never had one plant turn hermie. From what I know, stress causes hermie's.

  5. the process of getting femenized seeds is from hermi plants, the plant self pollinates it self, female pollen on female flower, thus creating femenized seeds, which is now passed on in the genitics, so you have a higher rate of hermi plants. do some research to see for your self

  6. The rate can't be all that high if grown properly under the right conditions, because he said out of 20 feminized that he's grown, zero have turned hermi on him. That sounds pretty good to me.

I don't really have the space to keep a mother and do clones, so I'm most likely going to get some feminized seeds also for my next grow. I just don't want to hassle with any more male plants. I only plan to grow a couple of plants at a time, so a 10 pack of fem seeds will last me ages and give me plenty of bud. I've also read a few negative things about fem seeds, but for me at least, the positive outweighs the negative.

    :)
