    i found this article with george michael, the english musician, talking about the pot he smokes:

    one quote: "You've got to be in the right position in life to take it. You've got to have achieved most of your ambitions because it chills you out to such a degree you could lose your ambitions."

    he is saying that smoking pot makes you want to give up on what you want to do because it "chills you out." for me, i hate when pot smokers describe an attribute of pot as if it is what every single smoker experiences. i've been smoking for six years, and in that time i've graduated high school and college and am beginning grad school. i smoke every day and have no more trouble motivating myself when i'm high than when i'm sober, but i do acknowledge that not everyone might react the same way.

    what do you think about this?

    He probably shouldn't have said 'you'. He can't speak for me. But at least he acknowledged he smokes!
