Hey, i had a professor tell me that the ditchweed, if you grew it, pinched off the leaves, used indoor optimum growing methods, used extra light and co2, cloned once, then let that one do the same thing, that after 3 clone cycles you would have good recreational weed and not ditchweed anymore with regards to thc and canniboids. Is this true? has anyone done or heard of this? i never had before. He was a botonist before becoming a professor.........
a professor told you that eh. well i am not sure if that will work. all those killer strains had to be created some how, though mostly through interbreeding. i do know that some strains need to be stabalized when created so they can be reproduced with consistancy. this is done through generational sexual reproduction not cloning. when you clone you have an exact copy. so that doesn't seem very likely to me. now when you are talking about optimum conditions, that will improve any strain. ditch weed has been grown poorly and cured the same. if growing and curing tecniques are perfected then any strain can become smokable.
What do you mean ditchweed? shwag? And potency does not get better through the cloning process, just worse over the course of that first mother plants legacy.
