Generation BUD

    How do you get generation bud? People talk about having 32 generation KB and wtf how do you regenerate a plant are they sayin when they flower before they cut they leave enough so the plant doesnt die and keep regenerating it? I havent a clue so i thought i would post.

    a generation is when u have a plant, it dies, and you take the seeds and grow a plant from em. then the new plant is the 2nd generation..

    That cant be right Drago. Most of the seeds you find would be in their 100000th generation if it were that way.

    to me it seems right to have the 2nd generation plant from seeds you have from a plant...but if that plant has already grown from a multitude of plants we have only to go back to the roots, i think...
    ...and what about plants that are crossed say NL and BiG Bud...that's the first generation of the new strain aint' it? and so it might go down to having pure strains like same type of male and female crossing or different types...and another thing..will a female get pollinated from polen that comes through the air from trees or other kinds of plant that do produce polen?

    Those are some good questions i would say no about the pollen being transfered from diff things.... I would really like ta get to the bottom of this generation thing its driving me crazy...

    Are you sure it is a growing term? Ive heard of people smoking joints, and then when it gets small, they save the bud at the end(the roach) because since it was acting as a 'filter' it is more potent. It becomes (i think the term i heard was) like grandfather or maybe a second generation or soemthing.

    Maybe that is what they were talking about?

    Well my drug dealer gets some really good hydro from this guy in the hills he has a huge ass barn he does Hydro in... i talk to him everytime im swingin by to pick my usual up and he always talks to me about growing he said my first grow would be fools gold because its the first grow and its not Generation bud "overtime". who knows i guess if no 1's ever heard of it then it must not exist because you people seem to be able to find the answers for all the things i post on here.
