OK to start I have no idea how many weeks in I am (long story) but ALL trichomes are cloudy and prolly 15 % of hairs turned orangish if I do cut now will the rest turn and would waiting any longer give me a noticably better yield? I've noticed the growth is either not happening or its very little bit. And will the rest of the hairs turn if I do cut now?
Are you sure about the cloudiness usually you don't see this until 50% of the pistols are red. What strain so we can be more diligent about advice.
I would wait until you get a good mix of amber trichs and a larger percentage of hairs have turned and receded. Pulling early seems to give a very speedy head buzz. Not my thing.
I'd have to disagree on that one...the idea that harvesting cloudy ( IMMATURE ) trichomes provides a "Head" buzz is foolish. If you want a head buzz, grow a sativa till its ripe for a body take an indica... Once all the pistils have receded, calyx's are swollen, and buds have halted growth...cut it down and prepare to dry and cure

I believe I even recomended waiting. If you do harvest early that is the effect from my expierience. My first batch, I had a 1/4 lb if bud that was pulled early. It was a very different speedy head buzz, and coincidently one that I dont care for personally. So, what effect have you noticed from bud that was pulled early? Does it give you more of a body high?
A decrease in potency as well as phenotype attributes (smell, taste, color). Indica's give ya a body high...sativas give ya a "speedy" high, Now to say its impossible to experience effects of the opposite species would be dumb...but not too common. Do you pick a rose early, or do you wait for its full bloom with the most vivid colors and smells...just before it begins the downward slope...its just another flower man
