General organics or roots?

Discussion in 'Growing Marijuana Outdoors' started by Dagolf, Jul 24, 2013.

  1. What's going on outdoor enthusiasts. Getting into the best part of the season quickly. I've been using the general organics line for veg and I've liked the results so far. Never ph, just measure mix and dump. Was thinking about completing the grow with the general organics but when I went to pick up the Bio bloom and Bio bud I got too looking at the roots products. They seem very good to me from the looks. What's your opinion. I've heard they're both acidic and need to bbe ph'd but that's bullshit BC o give mine full strength and have heard Ph can dip into the 4s and I've never had a problem

  2. Pre-amended soil is best in all honesty.

Ive used both products, neither is better imho, both require proper nutriment understanding as they're designed to be hydroponic nutrients 1st

You should also understand, that "dipping" & "jumping" when talking about ph,is a hydro quality. soil takes time to change, and if it has reached 4...your plants will be dust.

  3. Well ya super soil is better than bottles anyday all day. But seeing as it is almost August...well u get the idea. Super soil needs time to cook/breakdown. I understand Nutrients very well.

  4. properly built organicsuper soil balances ph naturally as well as the microherd regulating it. I do my own teas can be anywhere from 9 to 4 onph dont matter so that is not true plants will be ginormous like mine youdo organics right. As far as soupstyle organics general and roots organic are both quality products.

  5. you woud be best off getting a sack of alfalfa and kelp andmake botanical teas. They give my plants orgasms andway cheaper andmore complete then any bottle.

  6. and that 9-4 is the ph of your soil?or the additives your putting in?

    Big diffence bro.

  7. Ya I know for a fact my feeds have gotten into the fours. I've don't correct Ph but I check from time to time. My plants have no problems taking up nutrients. Microherd is cranking. Thanks for the responses. Think I'm gonna get the kelp and alfalfa going and alternate each week with the g.o. exactly what I've been doing this year except been alternating with bat/ewc/ancient Forrest/molasses. Shits been working real good so ill stick with it.

  8. goodsoil is always between 6 and 7 if your soil is actualy 4 you did sonething wrong. Im talking about the ph of th teas.

  9. In fact that reminds me to brew up a tea with some Oregonism. They go ape shit and its about that time to recharge
