general check up

    i am growing in the city (london) for the first time, after a couple of years of growing outdoor organic in the country. i started a few seeds about two months ago, and havent really regulated the light the best seedling has had. it is now 2-2 1/2 feet tall, looking strong and smelling pretty strong (cant remember the strain - possibly early misty) i want to know two things - how can i stop it growing too tall (i live in an apartment block - top floor) but still reach the sunlight, and also how long i should expect to wait before any signs of male/femaleness start to emerge. . if you have some answers but need more info, please let me know....would really appreciate the depths of knowledge out in the ether.......

    lst, that means tie her down, also if you haven't done so already you need to keep her in the dark 12 hrs every day. For future refrence, don't let them get more than 20" inches before starting the 12/12 flowering cycle. My current grow, I switched them to 12/12 at 15" and today they are 44" and still growing, should get another 4"-5" before all is said and done. You can also cut the top growth shoot off this will make it bush out more. But by all means tie her down and get her on 12/12 light diet. I sure do hope you have very tall ceiling, cause its going to get crowded.
