for those who don't know, gears of war is a videogame coming out for the xbox 360 on tuesday. it's not just a videogame, it's been the most talked about and most anticipated videogame (by my calculations) for the past year... It looks pretty decent. I want to wait for a demo, or for me to rent it first. Whenever I get hyped about a game and preorder it, it usually dissapoints me.
i've heard bout this game everywhere,def gonna have to rent it before i buy it. Same as you GL everytime i preorder it uosets me for some reason. the game kinda reminds me of halo but for 360. i'm stoked for the badass lineup of awesome games coming out for 360 i have my eyes on. Yeah im definetly gonna buy it, I didnt bother with the pre-order though. Every single game ive wanted badly I never preordered but got it the day of the release. Sometimes I have to go to 3 or 4 different store but eventually I find one that has a few extra left.
I'll buy it when it comes out over here (UK), on the 17th. Also, Tony Hawks Project 8 kicks ass! I downloaded the demo about a week ago and I can't stop playing.
see my 360 had the 3 red light problem and doesnt work since april. but im still an xbox fan and plan on gettin another one with the cold ass weather coming. but believe me this game will get mad reviews, its the most anticipated game since h2, this game is gonna be the 360s savior.
Some lucky ass people were able to get it today, (from what I saw when I signed in on Xbox Live). My brother pre ordered it and is getting it tomorrow, I pre-ordered Cod 3 and should be getting it tomorrow. Both look like they are going to be sick, but especially Cod 3.
High ALL! It'll be worth buying! I would not waste money renting. Like Halo, Itll retain its trade-in value for a long while. it is a truley well put togeather game and well though-out. graphics will be amazing and game play is "almost" perfect. ive played several diff demos. it will be most enjoyable stoned...I promis you that! Thats because people are in diff timezones and have gamestops open all night with preorders. Of course once and awhile an incompetent walmart or best buy employee will put out a game early, I called around and no one did I remember this happened with NFS:U, but on the flip side my cousin pre-ordered oblivion(what a let down btw) and got it a day late.
yeah i pre-ordered it and went to my gamestop this afternoon to see if they had it and they didn't. they will have it tommorow afternoon though my gt is lazycrazykz send me a request and maybe we can have a gears of war sesh!
after playing it for a couple hours, all I have to say is this.... it was really hard for me to stop playing for two seconds to make this post. add me i'm lazycrazykz if anyone else has the game.
Dude this game is fucking amazing! My housemates and I lucked out and won a 60" hi-def, and this game looks SOOOOO AMAZING on it. It's ridiculously fun, anybody tried multiplayer yet? Also a blast. If anbody ever feels like playing, my gamertag is Squiggs10, feel free to look me up (although my headset is broken at the moment so co-op could be a little hard).
