How does my Auto Grand Daddy Purple planet look? She is now starting to show signs of purples because of cooler night temperatures.
The high during the day is 86 the low is 70. The humidity is 55% for the low during the day and 75% for the high at night.
If you could get that more like around 80-82 it might help it gain some density. It's already started to foxtail though. 84 is about when mine start reacting negatively. Maybe increase your exhaust fan?
I actually don’t have an exhaust fan at the moment. I only have an inline fan for my carbon filter that is hooked to my grow light.
You need to figure out how to dump that hot air outside. You're starving the plant for fresh air as well without having a real exhaust fan. You should be changing the air. I dump mine out of a window. I just made a vent for it with a piece of plywood and a duct attachment cut in. Used some foam insulation around the plywood and wedged it in the window with a block of wood so the window can't be opened.
I know that i do need an exhaust fan. After this grow I should be able to get one for my setup. My humidity got way too high one day and I believe that is what started it. My humidity was at like 90+.
I tried that earlier in my grow and the temps in my tent were close to 100. I honestly would need an exhaust fan to help my next grow.
When you say your humidity was 90+ , do you mean 90%+? Didnt you get any bud rot or anything as i seen people say 60% humidity and you risk the chance of getting bud rot during flower
Yes my grow space was 90%+ for only 1 night. I fixed that problem after my watering. No I have not seen any signs of bud rot thank goodness.
Whats your humidity averaging now? Also how did you fix that humidity issue - just for future referrence
Now my humidity is averaging 50% for the high and 44% for the low. I fixed my humidity by putting more fan circulation in my grow tent.
My GDP plants were just placed in darkness today. I also placed ice on the medium to cool temps down for them.
Tomorrow my GDP plants will be harvested. I am sad that they are getting chopped down. It will be worth it though.
But where do you direct the fan tho? Do you just point it to the top of the tent? Aim it at plants? Would you be able to link me to what fans you use? I can’t use anything thats too noisey man - noise is a real big issue for me Can we see pics of that bro?
I just aimed my fan towards my plants like normal. All I did different was opening the bottom flaps on my tent on both sides. I am using a Comfort Zone fan. It is just a small oscillating fan.
This is my GDP plant after harvest. She smells like grape soda and I love it. I will keep everyone updated on the drying/crying process.
