The writing contest is seriously already closed? I am absolutely positive no deadline date was written on the initial post and that it was edited in later. I usually don't reread the first post of threads so I had no idea that it was updated until I saw that the thread was closed. Given the length that I've seen other contests run here, I figured it would be open for at least a week. I feel pretty shafted by that because I was in the middle of an entry
You're correct about the deadline being added after the initial post. He posted the thread on the 1st and added the deadline on the 2nd. The best I can do is let SJ know about your post. I can't really accept an entry from you without accepting one from everyone else who didn't make it in before the close. Sorry.
