  1. So im in the process of building a grow box in the attic. I'm going to have 3-4 autoflower plants growing in there at a mid range flower time. so will be about a foot or so when they trigger. I have 4 24w cfl's and one 60 w cfl for now. thinking about picking up a 250w HPS lamp to replace the cfls completely. better? yay? nay? or i can just use em all!

  2. or use the HPS with supplemental CFLs!
Careful of temps, though, especially in an attic. High fluctuations, generally.

  3. MUCH MUCH better! just keep in mind that you might run into heat issues and need to vent!

    cheers!

  4. Yea the HPS will be better ..... Temps will swing quite a bit if you don't
insulate your box. A remote temp meter will come in handy so you can
monitor the temp swings, peaks and lows, That will tell you what you
need to do about climate control.

Cool deal ..... I dig stealth grows.

PS .... I agree with sub to use a mix of lights as long as temps allow.

  5. thanks guys plenty of help
