Most of you probably might not know this, but today 93 years ago the Armenian genocide began. If you allready know all about it, then you know how it connects to the holocaust, and that hitler used it as fuel for his own genocide, for those of you who dont know what the armenian massacre is, to sum it up, the ottoman empire tried to exterminate the entire armenian race, successfully killing 1.5 million of them. Anyway, I was in History class and got an idea that maybe I can spread this knowledge with my fellow classmates. I have wicked anxiety and paranoia/social phobia, but somehow I was able to do this. I went infront of the class, did my speach, talked about the whole thing, and when I finished every single person in the class clapped for me, and I took my seat. I guess I wanted to share this information with people seeing as it is april 24, the day the genocide began. I think i did good, and spread some important knowledge, and Im glad I did it.
very nice dude! see, there's nothing to be scared about! sometimes it's going up in front of those people and not having anything to say that freaks you out. and they realize that you're confused, and they react by laughing or doing something stupid that you take as criticism. good fucking job spreading intelligence and overcoming those phobias! much luck in the future, remember it's not so bad, just know what you want to say and have some confidence! +rep
I wrote an essay in french about the Armenian genocide. I probably didn't get as in depth about it as you did though. Congratulations. Always awesome to do something you've had trouble with in the past.
The way they killed the babies was two of the soilders would hold a saw to the sky and another would throw a baby into the air and, well, you know how it ends.
