Gary Johnson

  1. Just wanted to inform some people that have not heard of this man. He is a libetarian candidate from New Mexico. He has recently started becoming very popular. He is much like Ron Paul, but to be honest I don't think Ron Paul has a chance. Gary Johnson wants to end the war on drugs and legalize marijuana. If you have not looked into him please do. He is the only hope for marijuana legalization, and for America. You will all probably like his views on many other things.

So if you like Ron Paul, I would look into Gary Johnson and help get him into the presidential debates and get him support while we still have time before November! :smoking:

  2. GJ has my vote. The trick will be getting word out that people dont have to pick between giant douche and turd sandwich, we have a viable candidate in the race and we need to shake the lesser evil mentality and get word out to vote for the party that hasn't torn our country to shreds over the years.

If anyone is voting obama in fear of romney or vis versa, don't that's stupid, vote for the guy you want in office. and tell that to your friends too.

  3. Unfortunately at this point he is too unpopular and has no chance. It's a shame, though. He'd make a great president. By the way, am I the only one that thinks Gary Johnson sounds like a black guy's name? I thought he was black until I watched a TV ad he made, and I was like, wait, that's a white guy's voice!

  4. No shit he has no chance at winning the presidency. Doesn't mean you can't support him and try to get as many people you know to support him as possible. That's the only way we will ever get a non-corrupt president.

  5. Another interesting candidate who believes in legalization is Jill Stein from the green party. unfortunately, candidates from more minor parties don't have much of a chance versus obama or romney. That doesn't mean we can't still vote for them.

  6. The real reason we need these folks is to force Dumbo and Daffy to debate the topics they'd rather avoid. As much as I'd love to have a strong third party, I think people need to get a little more beat down and pissed off before one of these parties stand a chance of getting into office. Another 4 years of what we have now just might do it.
