In turn, what they want to do is make nations like Iran inclined to sell their oil and do business with the US and so fourth. Well, the oil company that is now called BP had a majority ownership of Iranian oil, that is to say they got most of the profits. Iran demanded more profits, after all it is their natural resources. So Iran's democratically elected PM decided to nationalize the oil.. He ran on this platform to specifically do this. So this means most Iranians wanted this to happen, or at least a majority of Iranian voters. A sovereign country has a right to do this. So the CIA/MI6 overthrew the government, installed a new one so we could get back on the oil tit. It's up to you to support that or not. I don't. The installed dictatorship oppressed the people so bad, that the people revolted and they happened to be Muslim theocrats. This is a direct result of American and British imperialsm.
