Risk is great when you're faded. Several years ago, my friends and I started a game of Risk around 10-11pm on a Tuesday night. Most of us are fresh out of college and living with family. The guy who's hosting this game of Risk was living with his parents at the time. We tried to stay quiet, but that can be difficult when global domination is at hand. It was about 2:30am and I had the only remaining player cornered when my buddy's dad woke up and stormed down the stairs. HIS DAD: "What the fuck are you guys doing at 2:30 in the morning?!" MY BUDDY: "Dad, we are playing risk, it's almost done." HIS DAD: "I don't give a fuck, don't you guys all have work in the morning?! I know I do." We all collectively nod as he walks to the front door. HIS DAD: "Doors open!" So close to winning...
