I don't watch TV very often myself, but I went to chill at a friend's house for 4:20 and he was watching the 4:20 G4 special. It started after 7pm and was just hours of entertaining stoner programming. They played "The Big Lebowski" (one of my favorite movies). They even broadcasted their own show from Amsterdam and visited the Marijuana museum. They interviewed a bunch of people explaining why pot should be legalized, went through a history of the plant, explained the difference between sativa plants and indica plants. I was thoroughly entertained... Props to G4
The Big Lebowski was already rented from Family Video, and I asked all my friends if any of them owned a copy and no one did... I had rented Half Baked instead, but the CD was scratched and stop working about 5 minutes after they started Mr. Nice Guy. In short, randomly turning to G4 and seeing The Big Lebowski on was my only salvation for after my friends left. Sucks that it wasn't the unedited version though... and I missed all the rest of the pot programming, but I did see a few commercials with the G4 hosts in cafe's or places with quite a few plants, which made me pretty damn happy.
fuckers stole techtv I had the chance of watching a sample of it and it was good but Im pissed that they took techtv.
Yeah, it sucks. I have a theory that they are taking all the good programing from cable and puting them on premium networks so people will pay more to see them.
techtv ftw, the screensavers, call for help.... now what do they have... x-play and a bunch of shit shows that nobody watches.
I like attack of the show and X-play's alright but who needs that when I can find a game review anywhere online. Anyways I think a 4:20 special is great. Just for the reason of it being view less as a taboo more and more. Hopefully some day Fox, and CNN and all the big corbs will buy into not being so prude.
