  1. Today is day 7 of my G13 labs white widow plant, i am using a box i made that 60'' Tall 30'' wide and 24'' back and i just put aluminum foil all inside it with 2 florescent lights(i just bought 2 plant lights at walmart) and a pretty big fan i took apart to make it work. for the first 5 day i was running the lights 12 hours a day before i started reading more about and now i have them on 24/7.

I just want to make sure that im not behind but im afraid i am what do you guys think

And one last thing when am i good to start putting nutrients in my reservoir

  2. She is stretching towards the light. What kind of bulbs, specifically, are you using? Place them no farther than 5" from your plant, use stacked books to prop up the pot if necessary.

Aluminum foil is a bad idea. Reflects heat, not light. You are much better off with flat white paint all over the place. Finally, nutrients in hydro should be started extremely gently, after she's at least 20 days old or so.

  3. i just bought 2 18'' cabinet lights and 2 plant/aquarium lights to fit it. what do you think i should do to make my plant better

  4. Check the box or the bulbs for the specs. You want to know the wattage (W) value (the higher the better, mostly, at least 100W per plant), as well as the color temperature (K)--6500k or 2700k ideally (5000k would be bad). This information should be on both the bulb and the packaging.

  5. Put the lights clser bro. The stretch will stop but do it b4 its too bad.

  6. sorry it took my so long to repost but i was looking for the box that the lights came in and i couldnt find them so i called walmart to see and all the had were 14'' and she said they are 15 watts and i moved everything up and im about to take a pic to show you guys

  7. So you have 2 15w bulbs? That's 30W, you'd want at least three times as much. Go to any hardware store and pick up some 30W CFL bulbs, they're cheap. Make sure they're 6500K. 3 of those, plus your current light, should be enough for vegging your girl. Then you'll want to switch those CFLs for warm white (2700k) bulbs, to flower the plant.

  8. is this better this is all the closer i can get them to the light and here is an update pic

is she doing good for now until im able to buy better stuff

  9. If it's the closest, it's the closest, and it'll have to do, right? Stretching won't kill her, it'll just waste your vertical space a bit. Can't you pile some books or DVDs under the reservoir?

  10. yea i just did it about 6 or 7'' away from the top of the reservoir and about 3 or 4'' away from the top of the plant it should do much better now

  11. CO2 is a bit advanced. Are you using ventilation? CO2 makes little sense unless you are running timers on your CO2 injectors AND your ventilation, otherwise you're just gassing the plants and then blowing it out immediately.

Also, none of those links is to a new light. The first link is an aircooled reflector, which is where you would insert a light into.

  12. i was going to install ventilation w=once i got my new light and the 1st link should be the light idk why its not working for you

  13. The link that says "HydroWarrior Budget 6" Air Cooled Reflector $69.95"?

  14. yea but if you click on it takes you to it i just put the price next to it in my notepad sorry

  15. try clicking on it, it should work

  16. It does work, but that is not a light, it is a reflector, a case for your lights that makes light emitted to the sides reflect back down to the plant. It is not a light. It is a reflector for large, HPS (high-pressure sodium) or MH (metal halide) bulbs, which are large, require a ballast, are expensive and produce a lot of heat.

Look for warm white (2700k) CFLs, they're best for a starter grow.

  17. thanks man you have helped alot ill keep you updated on the grow as it goes by
