G Pen - Why Does My Screen Get Clogged After Each Bowl Of C02?

Discussion in 'Cannabis Vaporizers & Vaping Tips' started by gregorious, Sep 6, 2014.

  1. I recently switched over from flowers (20 years of consistent use) to a G Pen. My dispensary sells 6 grams of C02 oil for $100, and figured this would save my lungs and wallet some money.

The issue I'm having is that the C02 oil bubbles up and covers the screen in the mouthpiece (the one closest to the heating element) and I find myself cleaning it after every hit.  This sucks :/  I don't understand if the issue is I'm packing too much (I only fill the white bowl - even though I find it tiny), if I pulling too hard, if my C02 oil is some cheap grade stuff (my dispensary has been very reputable with flowers and has hundreds of 5 star ratings on weep maps), or what?  Is this normal?  I can't find any other C02 oil any where around this price point, hence only have tried this C02 oil.

What else can I vape in the G Pen that won't break the bank but will do the trick for someone will a healthy tolerance?

I also purchased the glass G Tank and have no idea what to do with it.  Was it worthless?

What I'd like is not to have to clean this after every hit.  Also, ideally, not have to pack one dab at a time.  I'd love to be able to pack a cartridge or buy a pre filled one and be able to vape all evening.  Is this possible with the G-Pen or do I need to switch over to another pen?

Thank you for taking the time to read this and reply.  I've read a TON of stuff on the web, watched youtube videos, but still feel this concentrate culture has crept up under me while I've been just buying top shelf flowers.

BTW - I have a volcano and find myself more often vaping with that instead of my pen.

  2. If you really want to venture into concentrates you need a rig, besides the fact that g pens have a weird taste its definitely not hitting you like taking a real dab.
