    This commercial is so fucking dumb, how can one compare putting a parasitic creature onto ones body, to an naturally occurring plant. Leeches wouldn't get you high, watching anti pot commercials motivated me
    To start smoking because I saw how stupid the DEA and above the influence are. And above the influence is extremely ironic in nature.

    The idea here is that kids tend to do something just because everyone else is doing it. They're not saying putting leeches on yourself is comparable to doing a drug. The leeches are arbitrary, its a metaphor.

    But it's still the psychological effect of doing something "dangerous" to fit in. Last time I checked, smoking bud isn't dangerous at all.

    Honestly, I like the leeches commercial better. At least it has a message (dont smoke weed just because you think its "cool") Whats this one saying? snorting cocaine is like snorting bloody brain tissue? Again, it relies on scare tactics instead of rational thinking. Not saying doing cocaine is a great idea, but a better way to reduce cocaine use is to tell people how fast you can get hooked.
