hey i have nats in my medium my uncle told me a cheap easy way to kill them is to take cigerette butts and empty out the leftover tobacco into water and mix it. then water your plants with the water will this work please help. cheers
no dont do that. Either put a small layer of "store bought" sand over the top of your soil. Or let your pots dry out almost completely and hang some fly strips or raid no pest strips. In order to kill the larvae add 1 part hydrogen peroxide with 10 parts water, then water, the peroxide kills the larvae on contact. Your soil will bubble but your plants will be fine.
