I actually found some oysters on the same log, unfortunately they were too far past their prime but that log is in my back yard, hopfully they'll be back this year.
Yeah i understand, Oyster mushrooms are quite popular these days you should be able to find them but like Shiitake they are more expensive.

Tons of amanita muscarias grow out here. Not a fun time luckily converted the ibotenic acid to muscimol so very little nausea.
Super cool. I love the Red ones! Hopefully I'll get some new pics soon. I need to take a walk around. Late summer into Fall is definitely the best time around my parts.
