  4. They don’t fight amongst themselves -
There’s so many different positive properties - they’re obviously much smarter than we are... lol

  5. Awesome little article -

    Ten fascinating facts about fungi

They're all around us, in the soil, our bodies and the air, but are often too small to be seen with the naked eye.

They provide medicines and food but also wreak havoc by causing plant and animal diseases.

According to the first big assessment of the state of the world's fungi, the fungi kingdom is vital to life on Earth.

Yet, more than 90% of the estimated 3.8 million fungi in the world are currently unknown to science.

  9. Couple of cool things -

First - did you guys know that the largest living organism on Earth is a mushroom? More specifically it is the fungal hyphea network (underground connected system) of mycorrhizae.

Second - Faerie Rings - pretty cool!

Both are attributed to mycorrhizal fungal networks below ground. The giant network in Oregon is miles across...

  18. I wish I knew which ones to eat. Unfortunately the only mushrooms I eat are from the store. I'd poison myself trying to eat wild ones. Even if I learned them inside and out I still wouldn't trust it. I'll stick to admiring them and taking pictures. Lol.
