Over wateeed a couple times and hard some gnat issues so i toopes all the plants with DE and there is a single bug flying around now. How this just started within 12 hours of me putting the DE powder down..is this the gnats despirt attempt to lay more eggs? They cant get into the soil now so are they laying on the leaves? Will this hurt the plant?what are theae things..there is quite alot that appeared virtually overnight.
Take orange paper and smear Vaseline on it. Place it around the plant. This will kill the adult gnats.
Ah man another bug!..i am within weeks of harvesting one plant and 5 weeks from the other. The weird thing is i just noticed these bugs on both my outdoor plants and indoor plants today..they are even on my clones in a humidity dome which definitly werent there when i made them 1 week ago..what is the best way to tackle these invadors?
A couple treatments of neem oil should get rid of them. Right in time for harvest. Be sure to spray the underside of the leaves, shouldn't spray the buds tho. Typically they prefer the underside of leaves more than the buds. I have a lot of experience but never dealt with thrips on my plants, so if anyone has better advice, take it.
