So yesterday, my friends and I decided to explore down by the Neuse River in Raleigh, NC. There were some little paths that went along the river, and eventually we found some big rocks to climb on. Before that, though, we found these 2 fallen over trees over the river, so we waded out to them and chilled on these fallen trees for a good half hour or so. Good times in the outdoors were had.

it really is. i love living in Raleigh, because you get the mid-size city urban environment, but then you go 15 minutes outside the city, and you get beautiful-ass nature like this.
Honestly, the Neuse is fucking disgusting. It's extremely polluted. With that said, I've kayaked it and been in the gross water. And I've come out smelling like shit. Anyway, there's a neat dam on the Neuse on this biking trail. But I'm not sure exactly where you're at.
