I was looking at getting a Fumo pipe and I wanted to know what people thought about them. Also is it necessary to use a screen?
I've got one. Its definitely solid and won't break, fairly easy to clean with an iso soak or boiling. It gets clogged with resin really fast but I guess thats good since the resin isn't going into your lungs. There is 1 built in screen in the metal bowl and I use the glass add on bowls with another screen in the bottom for a total of two screens. I used to add a third one but it would get clogged way too fast. Everyone that comes over and uses it thinks its really cool but I pretty much only vaporize now so I don't use it as much. You definitely taste the herb more when it milks up and mixes with air in the clear tube, it seems to kind of magnify the flavor to me.
