These 10 seeds range from the children of stinky indicas to a couple scruffy hybrids. (first grow btw.)

I arranged the seeds and labeled them so I can see which seed grew which plant. I'll keep track of their number the whole time so you can see as well. Once seeds are planted I will update every other day with a pic of the group.

I boiled some water and soaked the paper towels and the container i was going to store them in - to prevent mold from growing and infecting the seed.

    Put seeds/paper towels into tupperware.

Seeds have been germinating for about 2 hours.

  2. Two days since the germinated seeds were planted in the soil peat cups. Watered every night with .2L bottled water. Currently have 60 watts of CFL on them 24/7. Upgrading lights within two weeks.

  3. just hooked up 4.5v to seed #9. there are a couple plants that are growing faster than #9 so it will be interesting to see if this addition will have an effect on the growth. 4.5v is the source, actual voltage is about 180mv near the stem, 100mv half an inch out.

  4. what soil? i will be following!

  5. soil is Jiffy Seed Starting Jiffy-Mix "100% Organic Greenhouse Quality Mix"
When I transplant them to 2 gallon containers, I am going to use a more serious soil.
Any recommendations anyone? I know Fox Farms is good but I guess I will have to search.

Also, I have decided to put a green laser on plant #4. More curious to see if maybe the plant will bend towards the laser or really any kind of reaction, good or bad.

  6. Have you ever heard of how magnets can increase blood circulation?
Well im trying that out with some rare-earth magnets around the stem of each little seedling.
Labeled all the plants in this pic so you can follow the progress.
You can already see one pure indica(8) and sativa(1). Everything else is a hybrid leaning one way or the other.

  7. love the magnet idea ,lets hope for some healthy buds

Weird... so i had a seed that didnt pop. wouldnt pop 3 days after i had planted all the rest. i was gonna throw it out. instead, i took the seed, rolled it between my fingers until i heard the shell crack a little, and then re-germinated it... 2 days later, it sprouted??!!!
so maybe if you get a seed that doesnt do anything, the shell is too thick for the sprout to break?
definitely interesting, will keep this in mind next time i buy strain seeds.

Also, I just threw away #6. It seems the sprout had died or at the very least stopped growing as soon as the sprout breached the soil.
So I gained one and lost one.

  9. seedlings are coming along nicely.
just ordered a 600W digital ballast HPS light, along with some mylar, 2gl grow bags, drain plates for bags, ph up and down, and fox farms 3pk liquid soil formula.

some of the seedling are showing purple stems, as well as the leaves hiding purple already. either they are sick or this is gonna be fucking hella dank.
