Computergames i mean. wtf? why? we immerse ourselves with entertainment, and why? it dawned on me only now that i have returned to playing the damn things that as i do so, i am as bad as soap watchers. and i\'m a consumer too! that just makes it worse.... i\'m caught up in the spin and dazzle of the new game. i got caught up in the times as a kid... who doesnt with ten tons of capitalism fed down yer through sences 24/7 on every channel. oh digit, will you ever learn!? Nintendo is king!! Well, sony is king, but nintendo and videogames alike are all very keen Ive played my playstation 3 times this summer though!! What the fuck!! i figured id sit back and beat all my unfinished games this summer. but instead ive played shit all. I dont know, i still love videogames, i just dont play em ever, i collect em more it seems. which is a waste, but whatever. im going out for a smoke.
Blizzard made Diablo so it sucks you in to it and traps you in that video game world. They made that game too addictive.
That\'s just fucked up to think that there\'ll be 850 million people who are so addicted and tethered to technology that they must have entertainment \"right now\" and be able to have it anywhere. Fuck media, I don\'t have TV or radio, i built a frankenstein computer from dumpster diving and hand me down parts (altho i did have to buy a modem and soundcard) and just the other day a friend was dumpster diving and found a 6.7 gig harddrive that i installed. I\'ve got a few cases with motherboards, processors, and memory and i found a few working monitors in the dumpster on my block so i got plenty of spare parts now in case i need to frankenstein something else together. im a consumer, and i dont mind being a consumer of video games. its one of my hobbies, just like pot. nintendo is the shit, and i agree they making very addicting games. same with blizzard. now if only nintendo would get more online titles.....
I was gonna post a real reply, but I just got out of class and Halo is calling my name. I started playing it on my roomie\'s x-box the other day and almost have it beat on easy. Then I can move up to normal. Dammit, why is that game so addictive. I need it to come out on the pc so I can make the controls easy like my quake setup. Back to killin stuff.
I know too many people who are obsessed with the game. It\'s pretty good, but not as great as everyone says. I just want to beat it and then play some multiplayer. When I get tired of this I\'ll just fall back to my old stand by of Q2 and Q3.
Samus, could you imagine an online SSB:M?!?!??! I would definitly pay for that. And to thsoe of you wishing halo would come to pc, well it is soon. I beleive its supposed to be released near the end of sept, just like HL2, lets all pray that it doesnt get pushed back! And I do agree PC is the best gaming machine for FPS, i wish I had a decent controller to plug into it to play all other games. Does anyone know if there is such a thing that connects a game cube controller to your pc?
I have different reasons to be pissed with FUCKING nintendo. I just spent two days downloading Ogre Battle 64 only to find out that the rom won\'t work with any emulator whatsoever because when they made the game they put some special graphics chip in it. Graaaarrrr! That\'s 40 mb over dial up! For nothing!
