I can't stand the damn news, It's fucking nothing but proaganda about everything under the sun. My family watches it and I know they treat it like everything said is fucking golden and it just pisses me off. Last night they were talking about a man who killed his uncle and they just had to say " It appered he had smoked several marijuana cigarettes before he broke out in a rage and killed his uncle". Like that had anything to do with the actual murder. Also if somebody was talking to me and used the term "marijuana cigarette" I would just fucking faceplam because that sounds so gay. Anyway post your thoughts on your local news stations/stories so we can laugh at them.

The news in Canada isn't all bad, they were talking about a show just starting about alcohol prohibition and one of the people talking about it was saying how it's relevant to today's situation with marijuana and how prohibition doesn't work. I did watch a show called Southern Fried Stings, and I got halfway into it before changing the channel. My gosh, that was pure crap.

It's only going to get more intense until the November elections. The propaganda and anti-marijuana advertising is going to kick into high gear over the next couple of months. This is exactly what happened with Prop. 8 and the last minute campaign that tipped the balance and helped the law to pass. They used the "think of the children" tactic which I'm sure will be the main focus with this campaign as well. This is why I think the Legalization effort in Cali. will fail (by a slim margin). Not enough pro-cannabis advertising and advocacy.
