honestly you shouldn't have left your $200 glasses just lying around at a friends house now that this has happened though it looks like it is clearly going to take toll on the friendship. I have a friend who owes me close to 3k for over a year now and always is coming up with bullshit excuses how he cant pay. Then in january he started making some decent money and made 5k and still didnt pay me back. he started coming up with shit like "dude i have to save up money for the future and my car payments". a year ago when he called me asking for money he was on the phone crying to me how his life is fucked and he needs money urgently like asap. but paying me back is not urgent. its not even about the money, its about the principal. fuck these people
