Non-Overlaping Magisteria is what NOMA stands for and its a term that Stephen J Gould coined. For those who are unfamiliar, is basically says that science and religion are separate areas of discourse and that they cannot ever contradict one another because they are completely different. Complete bullshit! Science and religion are constantly in dispute over one another and it ought to be this way! This basically comes down to which is more pragmatic for daily human life, and I would bet that most people here agree with me when I say that science is more helpful for humans than religion is. Its a question of utility; which one creates more utility for humans? The answer is simple: Science. Stephen J Gould is wrong. Science and religion are conflicting views that cannot be meaningfully held simultaneously by any individual. anybody disagree?? please give actual reasons
