why all the hate for the cure?? And why do people always hate on myspace? I've kept contact with many old friends because of it. I think people should stop talking about what an epidemic myspace is because it makes you no better than the myspacer themself. You browse GC with your free time on the internet, they browse myspace. I don't think there is anything wrong, its just an online community of friends.
I use MySpace to keep in contact with a few people I graduated HS with. Agreed. I think there's internet drama no matter where you go. Human nature, I suppose.

I do own one, I just don't use it to it's full potential; I'd hate to come across as an overgrown 'emo' (whatever that actually means). I did find a couple of people on there that I hadn't seen in years, though, and a very old boyfriend, so it's been nice to catch up with people. It never ceases to amaze me how carried away people get. Internet flounces are so very pointless.
I think yall are misunderstanding. 1) I will NEVER hate on the cure 2) A specific event happened on myspace last night which pushed me over the edge... so obviously I have a myspace.
seriously, Fuck myspace. The other day I was at this party and me and some other people were playing a loud drunken game of flip cup. I went in the other room to grab more beer, and there's this fucking kid sitting there looking at myspace. Why show up at a party so you can fucking check your myspace messages. And what's the point with having like 29834324560987 "friends" anyways. Who gives a shit. You don't even know those people. They wouldn't lone you money, they wouldn't smoke you up. They're just people from the internet. Some people i know seem to care more about myspace than real life. I used to use the computer a lot more than i do now, but i would just spend like 8 hours a day on it and waste so much time, now i spend a couple hours a week on it, and i have so much more fun. Myspace people need to get a life outside the internet.

I've had a myspace for many years, and a lot of stuff about it pisses me off. I have a small amount of people that I personally know as my friends, no one else. I find it a very helpful way to keep in touch with people from high school, and people I have met at some point in my life that I would like to still talk to but live too far away. Myspace can be a useful thing...but like anything in life, can be used the wrong way and can be potentially bad. Especially when 15 year old girls post slutty pictures of themselves in PUBLIC DOMAIN. Jesus. I know how you feel about myspace ruining lives...I recently found out something pretty fucked up over myspace too. I wish people could just tell you stuff in real life instead of hiding behind a fucking computer.
