Dubstep is best described as bang, crash, all up in your face. wubwubwubccchrruuunnnnnnnwobwobwubwuwubwubwubwubuwubwubuuPOWPOWPOWPOWPOWchurrrrnnwubwubwbuwubwuwbwuwbuwubwb -- [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2evc5x7E8Hk[/ame]
No, that means theres more dubstep fans than people on earth. Its just another trend in music. Like hippie bands in the late 60s or thug rap in the mid 90s. Shit changes some like it some dont. One thing though, cant deny hendrix was talented but im not sure you can say that about fast paced beats but maybe you can dont know enough
Sorry bro, but I just don't see people looking back 50 years from now and saying "Wow, <Particularly Well-Known Dubstep Artist> was undoubtedly talented and a symbol of the times back then." To be honest, I don't think a lot of music from these most recent years will be either.
I'd like to see these haters who judge these producers make their own beats and make it big. -- You may think Bassnectar sucks, but he's making more money and banging more pussy than you at the moment. What are YOU doing, OP? Oh yeah, you're posting on an internet forum on how much he "sucks" Are there shit producers? Of course, that exists in every genre of music though. Dubstep is not for everyone, just like reggae isn't, etc. But why bother wasting time and effort filling yourself with hate? Go listen to the music you like and move on with your life
You can. Though I can see why alot of people don't see it requiring alot of effort or skill. It takes alot to create a good electronic song that people listen to repeatedly. It's just like makin any other song. It's a process. A delicate process.
I hate dubstep the way it is now. It's just going to be the soundtrack to all the porn in the future because it will be robots instead of humans. I like the old style of dubstep. Where it has a smooth bass, you can really chill while listening to it.
I'm not sure if it's just me, but I can't get into the old Dubstep. I can listen to some current chill dubstep, but the old school stuff is like an alien language to me. Maybe it was being introduced to Widdler and stuff like that, that set me in my ways. -_o.o_-
Make me a country song, a good one. Otherwise, shut the fuck up. Show some common respect or dont post.. This is not the vibe here at the city Slinger
i went to warped tour last week and soo many bands were adding dubstep to their songs and it sounded like shit covered shit. Also i've been a musician for 12 years and im going to college for it so i kinda have an ear for what sounds good. I have a ton of respect for all generas of music but i cant listen to dubstep for longer than 20 seconds, even when im rolling...
The thing is, I wasn't claiming that country was inferior or easier to make. This was said about dubstep. Nice try though.

Did YOU make those? I dig. Perhaps I should have quoted the guy I was referring to, because it seems people are taking it the wrong way. My comment was directed at the guy who said that dubstep was easy to make (pretty sure it was the op). I was essentially telling him to put up or shut up.
Nope, I don't like dubstep to be quite honest. It's annoying, and doesn't suit my musical taste. However I won't hate on the kids that buy into the trend. Except when they come up to me like they know me when they're rolling balls. Then my fist gets involved.
